Samarth Clinical Laboratory maintains patient records, diagnostic reports, personal information, billing details, consent forms, and other related data in accordance with applicable laws, government regulations, healthcare standards, and NABL accreditation requirements.

We retain information only for as long as necessary to fulfil medical, legal, regulatory, operational, audit, quality assurance, and accreditation requirements.

Data Deletion Requests

Patients may request the deletion of their personal information. Wherever legally and technically permissible, the requested data will be removed from our active systems within a reasonable timeframe.

However, certain information may be retained for the mandatory period required under applicable laws, regulatory guidelines, NABL standards, or other applicable healthcare requirements. Such information may include:

• Patient registration and identification records

• Laboratory test reports and diagnostic records

• Billing, payment, and transaction records

• Patient consent forms

• Quality control and quality assurance records

• Audit and accreditation-related documents

• Records required for medical, legal, regulatory, or statutory purposes

Where retention is legally required, the information will remain securely stored and protected and will not be deleted until the applicable mandatory retention period has expired.

Secure Storage and Disposal

Samarth Clinical Laboratory implements appropriate administrative, technical, and security measures to protect retained information against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, disclosure, loss, or damage.

Once the applicable retention period has expired and the information is no longer required for medical, legal, regulatory, audit, or accreditation purposes, records are securely deleted, anonymized, or physically destroyed in accordance with our internal record management and data disposal procedures.
